Make Polluters Pay Day of Action
Whether you live in Southern Maine, the County, Down East, or anywhere in between, you likely have personal experience with the impacts of climate change.
These stories aren’t always easy to recount, but they have power.
That’s why on Tuesday, January 27, from 8:30-11:00 AM, we’re rallying at the State House for a Make Polluters Pay Action Day to use the power of storytelling and photography to call on the Maine Legislature to act on the climate crisis. We’ll be co-hosting a live, pop-up art gallery at the State House in Augusta to share our personal experiences with climate change, illustrate its devastating impact on our communities and environment, and call on the Maine Legislature to pass the Maine Climate Superfund Act.
