Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund Endorses Sean Faircloth for Maine State House

AUGUSTA, ME – Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund, which works to elect pro-environment and pro-democracy candidates to public office, recently announced its endorsement of Sean Faircloth for House District 24, which covers parts of Bangor, Brewer, Orono and all of Veazie. The special election will be held Tuesday, February 25th. The seat was formerly held by Joe Perry who resigned to serve as state treasurer.

“We are confident that Sean Faircloth will champion efforts to protect clean air and water and our climate future,” said Cathy Breen, Director of Government Affairs. “Faircloth recognizes that the climate crisis is at our doorstep here in Maine. He supports bold action to protect the environment and our communities – while supporting working people.”

Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund works to elect candidates to public office who will stand up for a clean environment, climate action, and the health of all Maine people.
