An Act to Promote Reduction, Recycling, and Integrated Management of Solid Waste and Sound Environmental Regulation
Created a comprehensive program for managing the state’s solid waste with a strong emphasis on recycling and waste reduction. The law calls for recylcing 25% of the state’s waste by 1992 and 50% for 1994.
