An Act to Establish the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative Act of 2007
This bill allows Maine to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a program of national significance. RGGI is the first multi-state effort in the U.S. to put an absolute cap on global warming pollution from power plants.
